- LET'S HARTS resin casting power is an odorless gypsum casting powder. It allows you to easily create a smooth textured surface by simply adding water. A good alternative for epoxy resin and UV resin or combine it with resin to create new works of art (NOTE: do not mix 2 different casting materials together).
- Easy to mix and beginner friendly. Just measure powder and water, mix thoroughly and pour it into the mold! The ideal mixing ratio is Powder: Water = 3:1 (by weight, not by volume). You can also adjust the consistency by adding more or less water before pouring into your resin molds. After adding color and stirring for 2 minutes, immediately pour the mixture into the molds and let it set.
- 25~30 minutes demolding and no bubbles Demolding time is 25~30 minutes and fully cured time is 2 hours. Allow it to harden completely before removing in case the small parts can break off. The thin, water-like consistency easily fills even the smallest cracks, and its exceptional ability to release bubbles ensures a flawless result. Any remaining bubbles can be popped by tapping the silicone molds.
- Colorable & Paintable Resin gypsum powder dries to an opaque white color and can be combined with various pigments, mica, glitter sequins, quartz, sand and gold leaf during the mixing stage. If you're looking for a vibrant color, water-based acrylic paint works best. If you're looking for a pastel color, mica powder works well for that. Add small amounts at a time until you have achieved a lump-free consistency. It can be sanded and painted with acrylic paint after fully curing.
- Wide Application Our casting kit is designed to have a ceramic textured surface and has been created specifically for casting artwork, homewares and home decor. The durable, heat-resistant and non-flammable feature makes it very suitable for creating coasters, candlesticks, as well as for making sculptures, figurines, planters, decorative trays, etc. It is porous and not waterproof after curing, but can be sealed with varnish, acrylic seal or wax seal .
